About me.
WHAT I CARE ABOUT
Make it fit into real life. Design should meet people where they are…..in their routines, habits, and limitations. If something only works in ideal conditions, it doesn’t really work.
Design for feelings, not flows. You can map out the perfect journey on a screen, but if it feels cold, confusing, or frustrating, people won’t stay. Good design understands emotion, not just action.
Keep it simple. Good design doesn’t compete for attention. It feels natural, it just works, and you only notice how easy things have become.
Ask better questions. Design isn’t just about solving, it’s about understanding. The real problems usually show up once we stop looking for quick answers and start digging deeper.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
I was invited to speak on a panel at a U.S. Embassy networking event alongside professionals from Google, Nike, and Boeing. I shared my take on early-career design leadership, AI in UX, and why human-centered thinking isn’t optional. It was equal parts inspiring and grounding to exchange stories with students and seasoned professionals alike.
As part of the STEAMunity program, I mentored and led a team of high school students through the full arc of product design: framing the brief, running user research, iterating on feedback, and pushing through messy middle moments. We made it to the top 10 out of 20+ teams, but more importantly, I watched them grow into confident young designers who could think critically, collaborate, and create with intent.
